For several years, Africa has experienced strong growth in its Internet penetration rate, boosted by the development of mobile telephony. Indeed, the majority of the population is now equipped with mobile phones and connects to the Internet through them.
At the same time, sub-Saharan Africa (The target market) has seen the development of Mobile Money which is a mobile wallet service allowing its users to receive, save and spend their money. However, the different telephone operators each have their own Mobile Money payment API.
This lack of interoperability forces e-commerce sites wishing to accept these means of payment to integrate the APIs of each operator. These two trends are very favorable to e-commerce and online platforms, including online gaming platforms, and show the preponderance of mobile in this sector. The objective is, thanks to means of payment specially developed for the continent, to make accessible, a gaming offer equivalent to the largest international operators and this wherever Mobile Money is present in order to provide a global offer and become the first pan-African sports betting site.
